A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Full Time, Days Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months The Respiratory Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, will manage the day-to-day clinical and program operations. Requires the ability to complete job responsibilities that maximizes clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and interdepartmental workflow. Assists manager in orientation of new employees, education, skills competency determination, performance improvement, problem solving and counseling, scheduling and special projects. Responsible for the maintenance of the ABG Lab in accordance with CAP and CLIA standards. Performs critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and/or diagnostics through both physician directives and respiratory care protocols. Qualifications Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or Science Florida RRT license, credentialed by
NBRC BLS ACLS PALS NRP
