Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for respiratory health and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist Current state license to practice as a respiratory care practitioner Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and protocols Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients based on physician orders and established protocols Administer therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management Monitor and document patient progress, response to therapy, and clinical observations Operate and maintain a variety of respiratory care equipment safely and efficiently Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and lifestyle adjustments Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care This position offers the chance to build experience and make a meaningful impact within a supportive clinical team.
