$30,000 Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative acute care team providing respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and newborn patients across multiple hospital departments. This role offers a diverse patient population, advanced respiratory equipment, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting. Shift Details Full-time 12-hour shifts Flexible scheduling based on department needs Every other weekend required Rotating holidays with permanent staff Typically no call required (30-minute response time if needed) Department-specific orientation: 2 days Will not be the only Respiratory Therapist on duty No floating to a sister campus Compensation & Incentives Competitive compensation Shift differentials available where applicable Comprehensive benefits package Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunity to work with a wide variety of patient populations and advanced respiratory equipment Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients. Assess, treat, and monitor patients throughout the hospital. Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs). Perform EKGs as needed. Assist physicians during intubation procedures. Administer respiratory treatments and therapies. Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory equipment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams. Respond to respiratory emergencies throughout the facility. Deliver approximately 30-40 respiratory treatments and patient checks per shift. Requirements Experience Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience required. Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. PALS preferred. NRP preferred. CRT candidates will not be considered. Why This Opportunity Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Drager ventilators, A40, LTV, Avea (Nursery), V-60, and Vapotherm systems. Supportive department leadership with a collaborative team environment.
