1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU position requiring NICU experience, NRP certification, and travel experience. Details Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics role in the NICU unit Night shift (3x12 hours), 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM 3 shifts per week including every other weekend Floating within the hospital as needed Any EMR/charting system experience accepted Requirements Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required Prior travel experience required RRT or CRT accepted NRP certification required for

required; ACLS and RRT preferred Trauma Level I and II experience preferred License required if applicable One professional reference required Candidate's permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility Additional Information Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients including ventilator management, intubation assist, and airway suctioning Perform procedures such as bubble CPAP, oscillating ventilator management, and umbilical/capillary blood gas collection Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports Care for infants and children with conditions such as RDS, BPD, RSV, and cystic fibrosis Orientation includes virtual and on-site days with additional EMR training Local candidates not accepted Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Holiday RTO requests should be kept to a minimum First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
