Registered Respiratory Therapist Assignment Length:

Detroit, MI Shift:

7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am

Pay Rate:

$58/hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients. Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information. Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the client.

Experience:

1.5+ years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.

Must be:

Trained NICU experience EPIC experience required.

Job Requirements:

Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current license - Respiratory Therapist State of Michigan Current BLS certification Who We Are?
