Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various departments, including critical care units, emergency medicine, neonatal intensive care, and outpatient settings. Your expertise will support patient recovery by managing ventilators, administering respiratory therapies, and assessing respiratory function. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in respiratory devices, airway management, and patient assessment, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment. Duties Assess patients' respiratory status through vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and physical examinations to determine appropriate interventions. Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizers with precision. Manage airway procedures including intubation, extubation, and airway clearance techniques for patients of all ages, including neonates and pediatrics. Administer respiratory therapies such as aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and medication delivery following physician orders. Respond effectively to cardiac arrest emergencies by providing advanced airway management and participating in resuscitation efforts. Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care units (ICU), neonatal intensive care units (NICU), and outpatient clinics to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards related to respiratory therapy procedures.

$58.00•$60.00 per hour
