What You'll Do:

Provide specialized respiratory care in adult critical care settings, including airway management, ventilator support, and oxygen therapy Manage patient interventions such as intubation, extubation, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene Administer inhaled medications and manage aerosol setup, tracheostomy care, and ECMO procedures Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with complex ventilator management including troubleshooting alarms and weaning Support patients with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, pneumonia, and other critical respiratory conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need:

Active

ACLS, BLS, PALS

certifications, and MN State Licensure as an RRT Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience with 1 year specializing in ECMO; first-timers accepted with at least 1-year ECMO experience Strong airway management, medication administration, ventilator troubleshooting, and arterial puncture skills Ability to work night shifts, float as needed, and comply with scheduled block days (no more than 5 days RTO preferred) Willingness to work at a facility more than 100 miles from your residence About the

This position is based at a reputable short-term acute care hospital with Magnet designation, a Level III trauma center, and 672 staffed beds. You will be part of a highly skilled critical care team delivering advanced respiratory and neuro diagnostic services to adult patients. The facility utilizes Excellian/Epic charting and offers parking at a flat rate of $.55/hour.
