1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with prior travel experience for a busy Emergency Department, treating adult to geriatric patients on a day shift schedule. Details Respiratory Therapy department within a busy Emergency Department setting Patient population primarily adult to geriatric, with willingness to treat all ages required Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Weekend rotation typically every other weekend Allscripts/Sunrise charting system experience preferred but not required for ED Requirements Current BLS certification required CRT certification with NBRC credentialing required MO State RRT license required if applicable Prior travel healthcare experience requested Must be willing to treat patients of all ages if needed Additional Information Provide respiratory therapy services in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment Scrub colors accepted in any color or combination except solid black Smoke-free facility Orientation typically held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, lasting approximately 3-4 days Day one drug screening conducted by facility in addition to agency compliance screening prior to starting on the floor 7-panel drug and alcohol screening required prior to start Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility will not be accepted
