Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and administer diagnostic testing to determine respiratory needs. Plan and provide appropriate treatments for breathing or cardiovascular disorders Educate patients and their families about lung health and maintenance therapies Monitor and maintain respiratory therapy equipment Document patient care services and interventions accurately Respond to emergency resuscitation situations Collaborate with healthcare teams to devise holistic patient care plans Required Skills Proficient in using respiratory therapy equipment Strong understanding of respiratory care procedures Ability to conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests Exceptional patient management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills
