1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and/or PICU experience for a night shift travel position at a children's acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis, MO. Details Work in the NICU at a 400-bed children's acute care teaching hospital Pediatric and neonatal patient population, including critically ill and trauma cases Level 1 trauma facility with pediatric critical care capabilities Charting done in Epic; Epic experience required Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30) Every other weekend required No on-call required No floating required Paid garage parking available on-site Requirements Current RRT and BLS certifications required Minimum 1-2 years of experience required, with NICU and/or PICU experience required Experience in ED and pediatric critical care settings required Level 1 trauma facility experience required Epic EMR experience required MO State License required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrub color is open; facility-branded St. Louis Children's Hospital T-shirts and jackets are also acceptable No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, and no RTO during the first week of orientation Travelers who are former permanent employees of this facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Standard travelers may work up to 18 months continuously, after which a 3-month break is required Allied and non-clinical travelers may work up to 12 months continuously, after which a 6-month break is required Local candidates (within 75 miles) are not eligible for this position
