Associate's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.Upon hire:
Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License.Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. CRT with less than 5 years' experience, must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire; Or 5 years CRT and no RRT requirement. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
