Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your respiratory therapy career by supporting a leading pediatric trauma and teaching hospital. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide vital patient care within a highly specialized respiratory care team focused on neonate, pediatric, and occasional adult patients.

Schedule:

12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week): 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend rotation No on-call requirements Expected to work 75% of holidays Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays; RTO may impact contract length if unable to meet contracted hours)

Qualifications:

Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) Current NC licensure BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years' experience in respiratory therapy (Resource Team), including experience in ventilator management (IPPV/NIPPV) Experience in pediatric and neonatal units (ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, General Med floors) Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients as required First-time travelers are welcome to apply
