Key Responsibilities:

Administer accurate radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives Operate linear accelerators and related radiation oncology equipment Safeguard patient safety during all procedures Maintain detailed documentation of treatment sessions Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families about procedures, addressing concerns with compassion and clarity

Qualifications:

Active ARRT (T) certification required State license in Radiation Therapy (or eligibility to obtain in North Carolina) Previous experience in clinical radiation therapy setting strongly preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a collaborative team
