2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment, with hard stop requirements including Level IV NICU and high-frequency ventilator experience. Details Pediatric RRT unit serving neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required in this role Pediatric cardiac anomaly cases are part of the patient population Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule block Schedules are published in 6-week blocks 13-week contract Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate Requirements NC RRT license (compact or NC state license) must be in hand at time of consideration, as processing takes 2-4 weeks — license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, general pediatrics, and ED Level IV NICU experience required (hard stop) Hands-on experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required (hard stop) Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS — all must be in hand at time of consideration 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Flu vaccine required from October 31 through March 31 — no exemptions Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a local pay rateSimilar jobs in Durham, NC
