A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of pediatric experience for a night shift position at a large Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Camden, NJ. Details Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting Requirements Active RRT certification Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Pediatric experience required Experience working at a large Level 1 Trauma Hospital Active NJ license required (pending licenses not accepted) AHA certifications required; ARC certifications not accepted License required if applicable Additional Information
COVID-19
