Required Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license for Ohio (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred) Previous clinical experience as an RRT Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders Administer various respiratory therapies and diagnostics, including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance techniques Monitor patient responses; adjust care as needed in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment, and self-care strategies Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility safety standards
