Job Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting for a 13-week assignment in or near Columbus, OH. The role supports multidisciplinary teams, ensures accurate charting, and monitors patient responses to improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to hospital patients across all hospital areas. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific respiratory treatment plans. Maintain accurate charting and documentation using Meditech EMR. Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification standards.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field from an accredited program. Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Minimum of 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Previous experience working in a hospital setting. Ability to work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to float across all hospital areas. Physical ability to perform patient care duties.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Meditech EMR.

Qualifications:
You hold an RRT license and two years experience. You can work night shifts and float across units. You are proficient with Meditech EMR documentation
