Respiratory Therapist (RT/RPT) - Part Time
Job Description
- Assess, initiate, monitor, and manage BiPAP/CPAP (NIV) therapy.
- Perform respiratory assessments and identify residents who may benefit from respiratory services.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
- Assist residents with incentive spirometer use and pulmonary hygiene.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory equipment and therapies.
- Document assessments, treatments, and therapy compliance in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, admissions, and clinical leadership.
- Support respiratory evaluations for prospective admissions and identify residents who may benefit from respiratory services.
- Assist with the continued development and growth of the facility's respiratory therapy program.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and respiratory education for staff.
- Provide additional respiratory therapy coverage, including occasional supplemental or on-call support, as needed to maintain respiratory services. What We're Looking For
- Current Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
- Experience with or willingness to learn non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP).
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

- Competitive pay: $30-$38/hour, based on experience.
- Full-time night shift (10:00 PM-10:00 AM).
- Three scheduled 12-hour shifts per week with opportunities for additional hours.
