Cornerstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced and compassionate Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for part-time opportunities in Toledo, Ohio . This opportunity is ideal for Respiratory Therapists with recent, high-acuity acute care experience who are comfortable working with complex patients and advanced ventilation.

Toledo, Ohio Required Experience & Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered: Minimum of 2 years of acute care Respiratory Therapist experience within the past 2 years. Experience must be within the candidate's respiratory therapy specialty. High-acuity acute care experience required. Advanced ventilation experience required. Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred. Acute care tertiary hospital experience required. Experience will be calculated from the date the candidate became fully credentialed and received their Respiratory Therapist license. Ohio Limited Permit experience does not count toward the required 2 years of experience. Candidates must hold appropriate current Respiratory Therapist licensure/credentials as required in Ohio. Current BLS certification required. LTACH and IRF experience will NOT be accepted toward the acute care experience requirement. Position Summary As a Respiratory Therapist with Cornerstone Healthcare Staffing, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and complex respiratory conditions. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess patients, administer treatments, manage advanced respiratory support, and respond to changes in patient condition. Key Responsibilities Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and nebulizer therapy. Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced mechanical ventilation and respiratory support . Operate and monitor ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment. Monitor oxygen saturation, respiratory status, heart rate, blood pressure, and other relevant clinical indicators. Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions. Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic testing as appropriate. Assist with airway management and other advanced respiratory interventions. Evaluate patient response to treatment and communicate significant changes to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a high-acuity tertiary acute care hospital , preferably including Level I Trauma, critical care, emergency, and advanced ventilation exposure .
