A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Conduct assessments of patient respiratory status and document findings Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed Educate patients on respiratory care, health, and wellness strategies Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety and procedural protocolsWhat You Need:
Valid Respiratory Therapist license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Prior respiratory therapy experience preferred Strong patient education and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced healthcare setting About theAssignment:
