Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

Respiratory Therapist Location:
Pendleton, OR Area Permanent Direct Hire | Full-Time We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative healthcare team in Eastern Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a community-focused hospital where you'll provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and other respiratory equipment Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results as appropriate Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response situations Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and disease management Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification required (ACLS and PALS preferred or obtainable after hire) Previous hospital experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
