A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Requirements:
2 years of experience required Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience required CRT certification required BLS certification required PALS certification required NRP certification required Active SC Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at time of start required Pending State License accepted if proof of application is provided All RTO must be included at time of submission Approval for RTO will be based on manager/unit needs Guaranteed hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Must not have planned time off that will prevent pre-start compliance from being completed on time Traveler's SSN is required to submit Local candidates considered at a lower bill rate Distance Requirements Radius rule: 60 miles
