Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Proven experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred Proficiency in providing respiratory therapy modalities such as mechanical ventilation, airway management, and emergency interventions Thorough understanding of cardiopulmonary anatomy, oxygen/ventilation protocols, and patient assessment Effective communication and critical-thinking abilities Compassionate caregiving and strong patient advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders Monitor patients' respiratory status and respond swiftly to changes Administer and manage ventilator support, non-invasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures (e.g., arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests) Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory health and equipment Accurately document all clinical activities in compliance with hospital standards Experience a dynamic contract role where your clinical skills are valued and you directly impact patient recovery and respiratory wellness.
