Respiratory Therapist

Gonzales Healthcare Systems has an immediate opening for the position of Respiratory Therapist. Duties includes providing therapeutic respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of Gonzales Healthcare Systems and the directives of the respiratory medical director, as well as other medical staff members; providing direct patient care in accordance with physician orders; and working closely with Nursing Services assisting in education and in-services as needed for respiratory modalities. Graduate of approved Respiratory Program Registered or Certified as a Respiratory Therapist Current Texas licensure Knowledge of respiratory equipment Current BLS and ACLS certification Ability to perform PFT's and EKG's Gonzales Healthcare Systems, located in Gonzales, Texas has immediate openings for the position of Respiratory Therapist. Our facility is a 33-bed general hospital providing in-patient acute care to the residents of Gonzales County. The hospital offers a wide range of services including obstetrics, in-patient and outpatient therapy services, diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI and Digital Mammography, full-service laboratory, general and orthopedic surgery, and has a Level IV Trauma Designation.
