Job Description

Medical City Healthcare, in partnership with CryptoAnalyzer's progressive culture of innovation, is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist (CRT). In this on-site role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care to diverse patient populations, performing assessments, administering therapies, and managing ventilators in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will interpret arterial blood gases, collaborate with the care team to optimize treatment plans, respond to respiratory emergencies, and ensure accurate EMR documentation. This flexible PRN position offers exposure to cutting-edge clinical practices, continuous learning, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes while balancing your schedule with other professional or personal commitments. Responsibilities Perform respiratory assessments and deliver prescribed therapies, including bronchodilator treatments and oxygen therapy. Set up, manage, and monitor ventilators and non-invasive respiratory support devices. Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases, interpreting results to guide care. Document all treatments and patient responses in EMR accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust respiratory care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and home care equipment. Maintain equipment, ensuring proper operation, cleaning, and infection control compliance. Respond to respiratory emergencies, including rapid responses and code situations. Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
