A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description
TITLE:
Respiratory Therapist / RRTLOCATION
Warden, WA Would you like to work in a healthcare organization that loves to accomplish what is best for the community and their motto is "All of us, for each of you, every time." Would you like to live in an area surrounded by a large freshwater lake that offers 300 plus days of sunshine and the community is about 25K population, facility serves about 77k. There is a small airport, a University, a nice area that offers something for everyone. It is known as a Desert Oasis in the heart of the Columbia Basin in Central Washington with 4 seasons and 330 plus days of sunshine. What they're looking for:- Graduate of AMA accredited two (2) year Respiratory Care Practitioner education program (or equivalent criteria for state regulatory requirements).
- RRT eligible, or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.
- Prefer someone with 2 years experience Hours and compensation potential:
- Position is night shift and the hours are 7pm-7:30am with rotating weekends and the its 24hrs a week
- Hourly range for RRT $40.84hr-$55.46hr and for CRT is $38hr-$46.50hr depending on experience. Generous shift differentials for evenings($3hr), nights($4hr) and weekends($2.25hr).
- Sign on bonus($7500K) and full benefits package including relocation assistance up to $5K. What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders.
