Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP licensure and eligibility for certification in Alaska Strong background in pediatric speech-language disorders Experience in school settings is highly preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct intervention, both one-on-one and in small groups, targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency objectives Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to state and organizational guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student goal-setting Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
