Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! Multiple contract positions are available near Harvest, AL, offering the chance to select from various caseloads and work with different age groups, based on your skills and interests. Ideal candidates are passionate SLPs who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are dedicated to providing high-quality speech therapy services in a supportive school environment. This is a full-time opportunity that lets you focus on the areas and student populations most meaningful to you.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student care plans Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success Manage a varied caseload that may include elementary, middle, and/or high school students
