This full-time, onsite contract assignment focuses on providing essential speech and language services to PreK1st grade students as part of a leave-of-absence coverage. The position is based within a single school site and is set to run through December 18, 2026. Supervision is available, making it a fantastic fit for new graduates, Clinical Fellows, as well as experienced SLPs and SLPAs.

Qualifications:

Hold current Alabama SLP licensure and certification Open to candidates with CCC, Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), and SLPAs New graduates encouraged to apply Must be comfortable working onsite and in person Ability to engage with young children (PreK1st grade) Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students communication needs Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation Service a caseload of approximately 50 students across one site Participate in IEP meetings and consult with families about student progress Facilitate a supportive and enriching therapy environment for all learners This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 30 hours per week, ideal for those seeking work-life balance while impacting the developing communication skills of early learners.
