Qualifications & Experience:

Active SLP certification in Alabama SLP educator certification and successful fingerprint background check ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered Previous school-based SLP experience strongly valued Confident providing services to students in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school settings Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from preschool to high school Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive speech and language support Travel between assigned schools as needed, ensuring timely service delivery and documentation Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to support students educational programs As an onsite SLP, you'll work school-day hours, interacting directly with students and staff within a supportive team.
