Certification and/or
AL SLP DOE
Certification (one required to start; can secure the other while onboarding) Clinical Certification of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working with school-aged populations, preferably in grades 3-6 Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to students in 3rd through 6th grade Complete evaluations, write reports, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain thorough records and submit documentation in accordance with school requirements Attend relevant meetings and participate in school initiatives as needed
