Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Oxford, AL. This flexible opportunity is designed for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in schools while managing a schedule of 15-20 hours per week. Your expertise will have a meaningful impact as you assess, treat, and help children achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license (state-appropriate) and
ASHA CCC
required Familiarity with school-based IEP processes and documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Commitment to maintaining ethical and evidence-based practices
Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication and speech disorders Conduct thorough evaluations and develop effective treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support each student's unique needs Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and meet all compliance requirements Attend IEP meetings as needed and contribute to educational planning Adapt therapy techniques to virtual or on-site environments as necessary
