9669324-36272 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity, conveniently located near Piedmont, AL, is looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a diverse caseload of 40 students, ranging from 3 years old through 6th grade. Youll collaborate with staff at a single school site, providing assessments, individualized therapy, and support within a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Active AL Speech-Language Pathologist license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Previous experience with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students age 3 to 6th grade Work with a caseload of approximately 40 students at one school site Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain detailed records and regularly update student progress Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and support educational teams Your commitment in this contract role covers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a start date as soon as possible and extending through May 20, 2027. Compensation for this role is set at $40-45 per hour.
