9688997-36274 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role serving K-12 students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment near Roanoke, AL. Your expertise will create a positive impact on the communication skills and overall development of students, from early elementary through high school. Enjoy a flexible schedulefull-time or part-timeto fit your lifestyle, working five days a week. This position offers an immediate start, with an assignment lasting through May 2027. As a valued member of the educational community, youll provide therapy, assessments, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow professionals to help each student thrive.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Current, active SLP License in Alabama required Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome Experience with pediatric populations in school settings preferred Comfort supporting a diverse caseload across K-12 age groups Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Provide speech-language therapy in group and individual settings Maintain thorough records and complete all documentation in a timely manner Collaborate with educational teams, families, and administrators to achieve student goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans Anticipate a competitive pay range from $45-$50 per hour, paid weekly.
