A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Mustard Seed Pediatric Therapy is a growing pediatric outpatient clinic dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. We provide a fun, family-centered environment where therapists have the flexibility and autonomy to build meaningful relationships with their clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We're looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team. What We Offer

  • Administrative support for scheduling and billing Responsibilities
  • Perform speech and language evaluations for pediatric clients.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on each child's needs.
  • Provide engaging, evidence-based speech therapy interventions.
  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support carryover at home.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and treatment notes.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, ethical, and payer documentation requirements. () Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered)
  • Current ASHA certification (if applicable)
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with children and their families Preferred Experience
  • Pediatric outpatient experience
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, articulation, language disorders, feeding, or AAC is a plus—but not required.
