9623628-36092 Job Description Make an immediate impact by providing expert speech-language therapy to students in an engaging school environment. Work as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students' growth in both therapy and evaluation capacities. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule during the academic year, allowing you the chance to play a key role in student development through individualized support and targeted interventions.
Qualifications:
Current or pending Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (AL ASHA Certification also required) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working with school-aged children Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students, providing both therapy and evaluations Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in an onsite setting Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments, collaborating with educational teams and families Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Track progress, maintain accurate records, and document services according to school and special education requirements Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for each student
