Ideal candidates will have the following credentials and experience: Valid Alabama SLP or SLPA certification Familiarity with IEP processes and special education (preferred) Experience in pediatric and school-based settings New graduates (CFYs) are welcome Key responsibilities include: Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in students IEPs, focusing on a caseload of 5560 students, with direct file management of only 8 primary cases Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain compliance with all documentation, assessments, and reporting requirements Travel between two nearby sites, supporting three schools (with middle and high school on a shared campus) Contribute to the development of individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings as required Professionals in this role enjoy highly competitive compensation, reflecting experience and credentialsSLPs can expect $40$45 per hour, while SLPAs can earn $30$35 per hour.
