What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Ideal candidates will possess:
A valid Arizona SLP license Teaching Certification appropriate for school-based practice Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or willingness to obtain) Commitment to working with diverse student populations Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience with both direct and consultative therapy models is highly valued SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates welcomed Key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough speech, language, and communication assessments Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Delivering direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and other professionals Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Participating actively in IEP meetings and school-based teams Supporting generalization of skills across school environments Enjoy a comprehensive suite of benefits including weekly pay with equal rates for direct and indirect services, a selection of health insurance plans, life insurance options, and a 401(k) plan with company matching to help you secure your future.
