Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a rewarding opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, serving in a specialized program supporting K-8th grade students with autism. You'll play an integral role in helping students enhance their communication skills, creating meaningful impacts every day. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek and presents a chance to work with a caseload of approximately 50 students, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required Valid SLP license and certification; SLP-CCC preferred (or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year) Experience with pediatric populations, particularly students with autism, strongly preferred Familiarity with school-based speech therapy and IEP processes Comfortable conducting teletherapy sessions as needed Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8th grade students in a specialized autism program Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals Track progress and maintain thorough records aligned with program requirements Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes Deliver services via both in-person and teletherapy formats, adapting to student and school needs Offer consultation, training, and resources to staff and families This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills as a school-based SLP while making a genuine difference for students with autism.
