Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous school-based experience is beneficial but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Compassionate, proactive approach to supporting student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of communication challenges Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required by the school and state guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise to support each students educational progress Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and actively engage in professional development This role provides an excellent opportunity to hone your skills, build meaningful relationships with students, and have a lasting positive impact in a supportive school setting.
