Step into a full-time contract role where your expertise supports early childhood through elementary and secondary grades, collaborating closely with a dynamic educational team. Caseloads are thoughtfully assigned according to your experience and interests, ranging from moderate to profound needs, allowing you to truly make a difference in the lives of students who benefit most from your dedication.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current and active license in California (or eligibility to obtain) Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with early childhood and elementary students Ability to tailor interventions to a range of needs and student levels Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, teachers, and fellow clinicians Flexibility and compassion when working with diverse student populations
What Youll Do:
Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain detailed progress documentation Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to integrate speech-language support within classroom settings Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding students communication needs Adjust interventions as needed to address varying student ability levels
