Key Skills & Experience:
Active Speech Language Pathology license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Background in pediatric therapy and previous school-based experience highly valued Knowledge of IEP documentation, assessments, and the provision of direct and consultative therapy services Comfortable serving a broad age rangeinfants through high school students Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from birth to 12th grade Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as part of IEP development and progress monitoring Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication needs Consult with educators and families to support student integration and academic achievement Maintain thorough records and documentation according to school and regulatory requirements Engage in professional collaboration, supporting a positive educational environment This is an 8-hour-per-day role, averaging approximately 37.5 hours each week, ideal for those passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners across the county.
