Desired Skills and Experience:
Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (state eligibility required) Experience in pediatric populations: early childhood, elementary, or K12 settings Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education processes Strong communication and documentation skills Flexibility to work with caseloads varying in complexity Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to a range of students, adjusting focus according to caseload needs Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Participate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Provide guidance to teachers and staff for integrating strategies in the classroom Engage with families to maximize student outcomes
