This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across a wide range of age groups, from Pre-K and early childhood through elementary, middle, and high school settings. You'll play a key part in helping children and adolescents achieve their communication goals, fostering their academic and social success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-aged populations Expertise in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Knowledge of early childhood intervention and development Background in working with diverse student groups from Pre-K through high school Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to creating positive learning environments for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Offer therapy services tailored to the needs of students at all grade levels Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compile necessary documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements Support classroom integration and strategies for students with communication challenges Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
