Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract position in Ceres, CA offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting. The role focuses on assessing and treating students with speech and language disorders to support their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students experiencing speech and language challenges. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Deliver targeted therapy sessions aimed at improving communication skills. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care. Involve and educate families to foster supportive home environments that enhance therapy effectiveness.Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Preferred possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for engaging with students, families, and colleagues. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California.Benefits:
