Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of pediatric patients by providing quality Speech-Language Pathology services in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering specialized therapy tailored to children, ensuring measurable improvements and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each child's unique goals Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapy professionals to coordinate effective care strategies Educate and support families on patient progress and home-based interventions Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and active SLP license in California Previous experience working with pediatric populations in a hospital setting Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to the needs and developmental levels of diverse children Organizational competence and reliability when documenting and managing caseloads A compassionate, collaborative attitude, with the ability to engage children and families This role offers the chance to develop clinical skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
