This assignment seeks three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for leave of absence coverage at local preschool, elementary, and middle schools. Full-time schedules are available, with assignments typically running Monday through Friday and each professional managing a caseload averaging around 55 students. The initial assignment dates offer flexibility, with a strong likelihood of extension through the remainder of the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active California SLP license in good standing Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Dedication to fostering growth and development in diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across assigned campuses Complete assessments and re-evaluations as required Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Opportunities like this offer the chance to gain broad experience working with a variety of age groups and school environments within a supportive educational community.
