Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working within schools or pediatric healthcare settings is highly desirable Comfortable with in-person and virtual therapy platforms SLPA candidates must have relevant credentials for California practice Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency impairments among students Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic success Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both onsite and teletherapy formats Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress according to district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for individualized student planning Offer support and guidance to families and staff regarding therapeutic interventions and best practices
