Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required Current California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school-based pediatric setting highly valued Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commitment to collaborative work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Do:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in TK-8 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Provide push-in and pull-out therapy, adapting interventions to meet varied learning needs Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Educate and consult with school personnel and parents regarding support strategies and accommodations Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive campus culture
