Job Description

Shape the next generation by providing speech-language services to students of all ages in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with educators, families, and staff to help children and adolescents reach their fullest communication potential. Work closely with learners from Pre-K through high school, tailoring interventions to diverse needs as you foster academic and social success.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California Prior experience in school-based speech therapy, ideally across multiple age groups Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and progress monitoring Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff, and families Experience developing therapy materials, conducting group and individual sessions Passion for supporting children from early childhood through grade 12
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students speech, language, and communication needs across age groups, from Pre-K to high school Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and offer guidance for family and staff support Maintain thorough documentation and meet compliance requirements Offer consultation and training for teachers to support carryover of skills in classroom environments Enjoy the flexibility and professional growth that comes with contract work, while seeing tangible improvements in students communication and confidence.
